The Verdict

Worth it for your honeymoon?

Grace Bay Club is the original luxury resort on Grace Bay Beach — and it earned that status honestly. When it opened, it essentially invented the luxury market on Providenciales. It remains one of the most refined properties on the beach today: all-suite, boutique in scale, with a genuinely attentive service culture that larger resorts simply cannot replicate. The location is superb — you step directly onto Grace Bay, consistently ranked the world's best beach, with that extraordinary powder-white sand and calm turquoise water immediately outside. The all-suite format means even the entry-level room is spacious and private. The adults-only wing (Villas) keeps the tone sophisticated. Best for couples who want polished boutique luxury on the best beach in the world with genuinely personalised service. Skip it if you need a full-service spa on-site or want all-inclusive pricing.

Best for couples who…
  • Prioritise spa & wellness
  • Want direct beach access
Skip if you…
  • Need a strictly adults-only resort
  • Prefer boutique & intimate properties

Room Recommendation

Which room to book

Expert Pick
from $400–$1,200/night range

Book the Villas section, which is adults-only and has its own pool and beach area — this keeps you separated from the Estate wing where families stay. A Villa Suite with oceanfront orientation is the ideal choice. Request one of the upper-floor units in the centre of the Villas row for the most direct ocean view and best sea breeze. The wrap-around terraces are built for morning coffee and evening champagne.

Day by Day

Your 7-night honeymoon itinerary

1

Grace Bay Beach First Steps

Drop your bags and walk straight onto Grace Bay — no transfer, no boat, no waiting. The sand is impossibly fine, the water genuinely turquoise and warm at 27°C. Spend your first afternoon acclimatising on one of the resort's reserved beach chairs, order from the beach bar, and let the setting do all the work. Dinner at Grill Rouge, the resort's signature restaurant, as the sky goes golden.

2

Grace Bay Reef Snorkel & Spa

The Grace Bay reef runs parallel to the beach and is snorkeled directly from the shoreline — no boat required, no extra cost. Morning snorkel in the clearest water you've ever been in: parrotfish, sea turtles, and fluorescent coral in visibility exceeding 30 metres on a good day. Afternoon couples massage at the resort spa. The treatment rooms are open-air and the sound of the ocean is present throughout.

3

Private Beach Dinner

Grace Bay Club's concierge team are exceptionally good at arranging private beach dinners — this is genuinely one of the best places in the Caribbean to do it, because the beach is beautiful and the service team has done it a thousand times. Book it for night 3 when you've settled in. White tablecloth on the sand, dedicated server, a menu chosen in advance, and Grace Bay at night is extraordinary — calm, dark, star-filled.

4

Boat Excursion to Iguana Island

Take a half-day boat excursion to Little Water Cay (Iguana Island) — a protected nature reserve home to endangered rock iguanas and surrounded by completely undisturbed turquoise water. The snorkeling off the cay is outstanding. Most operators stop at a sandbar on the return for a champagne toast. The resort concierge books reputable operators and can arrange private charter for a premium.

5

Providenciales Dining & Art Tour

Venture off-property into Providenciales' restaurant scene — the island has some surprisingly excellent dining beyond the resort corridor. The Saltmills Plaza area concentrates several of the best restaurants and a handful of local art galleries worth browsing. Return to the resort for sunset cocktails at the Villas pool, which is quieter and more intimate than the main pool in the early evening.

6

Diving the Coral Gardens

Book a guided scuba dive through the resort or a local dive operator — the Coral Gardens site just off Grace Bay is perfect for intermediate divers with healthy hard and soft coral formations and excellent fish diversity. Advanced divers should ask about the Northwest Point marine park wall dives; visibility routinely hits 30+ metres and the drop-offs are dramatic. Return for a celebratory sunset cocktail on your terrace.

7

Slow Morning & Departure

Grace Bay Club is brilliant for final mornings — room service breakfast on your ocean-view terrace as the beach fills slowly with light. Late checkout is offered to valued guests; ask when you check in. The resort arranges private airport transfers to Providenciales International (PLS), a 15-minute ride away. Direct flights home operate from New York, Miami, and other East Coast hubs.

Honest Assessment

What to know before you book

!

The hotel is not officially adults-only — the Estate wing accepts families, so the beach and main pool are mixed; book the Villas wing specifically to access the adults-only section

!

There is no full-service spa on the scale of The Palms or Wymara — the spa is small and books out quickly, especially in January and February

!

The a la carte dining adds up fast — meals, drinks, and extras outside the room rate easily add $200–$400 per day for two people in peak season

!

Grace Bay Beach, beautiful as it is, gets busy during the December–April peak; the resort's beach section is reserved but the overall beach is shared with neighbouring hotels

Subject: Honeymoon Stay Request — [Your Names] — [Check-in Date]

Dear Grace Bay Club Reservations,

My partner and I are honeymooning at Grace Bay Club from [check-in date] to [check-out date] (Reservation: [reference number]).

Two room requests:
1. We have booked in the Villas wing and would love an upper-floor suite with a direct ocean view — ideally one of the central units with the best orientation to the water
2. A room positioned toward the quieter end of the Villas row would be appreciated

Special request: we would love to arrange a private beach dinner during our stay, ideally on the third evening. We are open to whatever menu the kitchen recommends and are happy to discuss any details in advance.

Thank you so much — we cannot wait to arrive.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is Grace Bay Club good for a honeymoon?

Yes — one of the best on Grace Bay Beach. The all-suite format, boutique scale, and personalised service make it genuinely romantic. Book the Villas wing for the adults-only section. The location directly on the world's top-ranked beach is hard to beat. It is not all-inclusive, so dining costs add up, but the quality justifies it.

Best room type for honeymooners?

A Villa Suite in the adults-only Villas section with an upper-floor oceanfront orientation. The wraparound terraces are exceptional for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Request a central position in the Villas row for the most direct ocean view and the best cross-breeze from the trade winds.

When is best time to visit Turks and Caicos?

December through April is peak season for good reason — dry, warm, and the trade winds keep it from feeling hot. January and February offer perfect conditions but book out 6–9 months ahead. May and November are underrated shoulder months with excellent weather and 20–30% lower rates.

How do you get to Grace Bay Club?

Fly into Providenciales International Airport (PLS) — direct connections from New York JFK, Miami, Boston, Toronto, and other East Coast cities. The resort is a 15-minute taxi ride from the airport on the north shore of Providenciales. The hotel arranges private transfers if pre-booked.

What is the diving/snorkeling like?

Grace Bay reef is accessible directly from the beach — one of the Caribbean's most accessible reef systems with no boat required. Visibility often exceeds 30 metres. For serious diving, the resort connects guests with local operators for wall dives at Northwest Point and the Coral Gardens site. Sea turtles are a regular sighting.

Insider honeymoon tip?

Book the private beach dinner for night 3, not night 1 — you'll appreciate it more once you've settled in. Email the concierge two weeks out to reserve it and specify whether you want a sunset start or a later, star-lit setting. The Grace Bay Club team genuinely excels at this and the memory lasts longer than any other night of the trip.
