Honest Assessment
What to know before you book
These are still tents — canvas walls mean you hear the jungle at night (most call this a feature). Air-conditioning works fine but insects occasionally visit.
The camp is built on a very steep ravine; steps and stairs everywhere, with buggies where possible. Not ideal for mobility issues.
Food is fantastic but limited to two restaurants on-site (Api Jiwa and Mads Lange) — you'll want some Ubud dinners to mix it up.
